Butyl Tape Double Sided

Our “Double Sided” joining tape is made from a highly water-resistant Butyl Rubber which allows you to overlap join both Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) tarps.

Tape is double sided and is used for onsite joining (overlapping) of PE & PP Tarps including: Canvacon, Covershield, Poly Ground-Sheets, Flexicover PP, Landmark PP.

Surface Preparation:

• The surface of which the tape is to be used on must be clean, dry, and free from grease & dust.
• Remember that pressure sensitive adhesion must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels.
• The recommended application temperature is between 15°C and 25°C.
